RESPONSE QUESTION FOR NUMBER THE STARS, TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2016
HELLO, FABULOUS FIFTH GRADE! BELOW IS YOUR RESPONSE QUESTION FOR NUMBER THE STARS: 1. Which chapter, of those read so far (Chptrs. 1-11), do you think is most important to the novel? Why? Be sure to support your answer.
I think the most important chapter would be chapter 10. I think it would be chapter 10 because Annemarie got to see how brave she was by lying to the soldiers.
I think that the most important chapter is chapter 1 (why are you running) because it was a suspenseful beginning to the book that made you want to read more.
Chapter 11 was so important because this was the chapter that told us what was in the casket and this was the chapter that they had finally put the plan in action and started to get ready to escape.
I think that the most important chapter in the book so far was chapter 11 because the Jewish,Peter,Johansens and the Rosens kick off the plan to escape and go to Sweden. If this chapter was not included there would be a mystery of what was in the casket and you would miss the plan "set-out". You would not get what was happening through the rest of the novel. Emily Richards
1. Which chapter, of those read so far (Chptrs. 1-11), do you think is most important to the novel? Why? Be sure to support your answer.
1. I think chapter 11 is the most important chapter because it is when the Jewish people were finally starting to run away. This shows that not all hope is lost and there is at least a chance at a better life for the Jewish people.
I think chapter 11 is the most important, because everyone is tensed as if waiting for what will happen next. I also think it is leading up to the most important part of the novel where they are going to take the Rosens to Sweden. The trip to Sweden is going to be dangerous and scary so they will have to brave and careful.
I think chapter 11 is the most important chapter so far because it is where the plan really started and they are leaving to escape to Sweden. It also tells you what is in the casket and if you didn't know that you would miss out on part of the plan.
I think the most important chapter is chapter 11 because they are carrying out the plan. I feel that we are at the most important part because they are about to take Ellen to Sweden
I think that so far that the escape from the Nasi soilders to freedom for the Jewish people who live in Denmark by getting to Sweden, because the Nasi soilders are taking the Jewish people to the different types of camps. Also the Nasi soilders are killing the Jewish people who try to escape from the camps.
I think chapters 9 AND 10, because Uncle Henrik showed that it is easier for Annemarie to be brave without knowing everything. In chapter 10 Annemarie got to test it out by lying to the soldiers about Great Aunt Birte to protect her friends and the Jews who were there.
1) The most important chapter in the book is chptr. 11 because its when they take the Jewish people to Sweden. Also, because its talking about the Rosen's pride and how they were stilling trying to escape. The Jews are still strong because they still had their shoulders straight. In this chapter it still shows that the Jewish people are strong in a despite situation. The still perservere and still have hope.
1. I think chapter 11 is most important because the play starts. I think everything big is about to happen like getting to Sweden or almost getting caught.
1) I think the most important chapter in the novel is chapter 4 "It Will Be a Long Night" because it's the chapter when Annemarie and Ellen realize how much danger and how serious the war is and the Nazis. Also the girls start to realize how much danger the Jewish people are in.
1.I think the most important chapter so far, is chapter.10 because that had the special psalm to distract the Nazis. It is also when there plan is starting and Annemarie learns more about bravery and has to, lie to the Nazis.
I think chapter 9 is the most important because that was the beginning of the plan because they had people there in cloaks and it is the part where Peter and Ellen's family came.
I think chapter 11 is most important because their going to start moving the Jewish people to Sweden and most of the other chapters were based trying to plan a way to move the Jewish people to Sweden. -Bisola Fakayode
I think that chapter 1 would be the most important. I think this because Annemarie always thinks back on how much has changed since then and how the world around her has changed so much. Chapter 1 is the most important chapter to look back at to see Annemaries' family, and Ellens' family has changed weather it is their looks, their freedom, or their survival with the plan.
i think the 11 chapter was the most important because they finally started the moving of the Jewish people to Sweden.
